“PeaceNexus Foundation has helped us to wrestle with one of our most fundamental mandates given by the General Assembly - how the UN can design PBF interventions to be catalytic for better and longer-term peacebuilding. They drew on world-class expertise, and followed-through with practical applications.  We aim to continue to draw on their assistance.”

“PeaceNexus was involved since the beginning of the planning process to apply for PBF funds through the Peacebuilding Recovery Facility to address peacebuilding needs in Kyrgyzstan. PeaceNexus provided advanced consultancy support during the process of formulation of the Peacebuilding Needs Assessment that can be considered as the only comprehensive and participatory analysis, which was recently undertaken in the country. It became a reference document, not only for the development of the Peacebuilding Priority Plan but also for national and international stakeholders who use it. PeaceNexus also helped to raise capacities of key stakeholders both national and the UN through organizing trainings and round table discussions. This was essential for further productive development of proposals and close engagement of UN Country team and members of the Joint Steering Committee in this process”.

The Constitution Review Commission of Ghana had very ambitious plans for consultation with the public. PeaceNexus provided valuable advice on methods for analysing the views of the people, and for incorporation of suitable recommendations in the constitution. It resulted in a useful opportunity for the exchange of views and experience between the Commission and external experts on constitution making.”

“PeaceNexus helped us where we most needed it after a period of quick growth: overcome an outdated management model, establish stronger governance, find out if we still knew our mission and understand how all these dots were connected. Peace Nexus' support was concrete, hands-on and adaptable. It achieved a major impact. DRI is a different, more mature organisation than two years ago. Importantly, they did not stop after recommendations, but also helped us implement them.”

“PeaceNexus provided very valuable support helping the Life and Peace Institute develop its capacities. The project is best described as successful coaching. It involved a thorough process of internal reflection that helped us assess best practices and methodologies and to develop pilot projects.”

“The Report on Insider Mediators in Africa  is of a particular interest because it showed who Insider Mediators are, how they work, how they contribute to peace processes and how they can be supported by the International Community. This is of outstanding importance, because Insider Mediators are involved in an increasing number of peace processes nowadays, be it in South Sudan, Mozambique or Central Africa Republic.”
