Case Studies

    Myanmar

In order to help leaders and business students learn from the experience of others, PeaceNexus supports the development and dissemination of case studies about companies working in complex environments. While the following case studies are based on business experiences in Myanmar they can certainly provide important lessons for business leaders operating in other complex environments and for students of management.

So far, we have developed four case studies to illustrate innovative responses to challenges related to working in conflict-affected environments:

  • Stakeholder relations and collaboration with state security forces – the case of Total E&P
  • Inclusive agriculture and the struggle to set up a social venture – the case of Fresco
  • An IT social enterprise for disaster response – the case of Mandalay Technology
  • The challenges of selecting local business partners – the case of Coca Cola

In order to help leaders and business students learn from the experience of others, PeaceNexus supports the development and dissemination of case studies about companies working in complex environments.
