With partnerships across 13 countries, Peace Direct is committed to further building upon its work by capturing the impact of peacebuilding interventions on the ground. Our partnership with Peace Direct will focus on supporting their locally-led, organisation-wide monitoring and evaluation framework.
Build Up ^is an innovator, expertise provider and policy advisor – by connecting peacebuilders across the globe with participatory methodologies and digital technologies, they demonstrate the essential role digital tools can play in overcoming social divisions, especially when driven by the values and principles of peacebuilding. Having accompanied Build Up ^s early days and fellowship programme, PeaceNexus is now partnering Build Up to support its conscious and sustainable organisational growth management.
International Alert is one of the largest peacebuilding INGOs with a 30 year history and presence in over 45 countries. International Alert works with local partners, engaging from the grassroots to policy level, to solve the root causes of conflict and build positive peace. In addition to its notable track record of achieving change in conflict-affected countries, International Alert is a leading voice on gender-mainstreaming and conflict sensitivity in development and humanitarian work. PeaceNexus will support International Alert in monitoring its impact and implementing its commitment to making inclusion and equity a priority.
Women’s International League for Peace and Freedom – WILPF was selected by PeaceNexus’ Board last year through our Call for Proposals.As the world’s longest standing women peace organisation, WILPF promotes sustainable peace through a feminist lens to advance political, economic and social justice for all. With a presence in over 65 countries, WILPF is a powerful vehicle for activism at both the community and global level, and is widely recognised for its holistic analyses of conflict, tireless advocacy and action for peace. Our partnership with WILPF focuses on articulating its global programmatic priorities and organisational model ahead of its next Congress.
