For the first time in Kyrgyzstan, on the occasion of World Peace Day, Yntymak Week – a unique event that unites people and representatives of organizations working in the field of peacebuilding – was held from September 18 to September 22, 2023.
Recognising that Kyrgyzstan is home to a vibrant community of organizations spearheading peacebuilding efforts within and beyond Central Asia, this unique event co-organsied in partnership with Acted, International Alert, Saferworld, Search for Common Ground, the UN Resident Coordinator’s Office in the Kyrgyz Republic and UN Women, brought together diverse actors to showcase and celebrate their impactful work.
Attendees had the opportunity to participate in more than 30 events held with leading experts, distinguished guests, and interesting speakers.
