This article from Responsible Investor examines the role of the Cadmos Peace Investment Fund, which has been seeded and initiatied by PeaceNexus, in adressing SDG 16 Peace, justice and strong institutions. It is based on interviews with two of the fund’s partners, Dominique Habegger (de Pury, Pictet, Turrettini) and Antoine Mach (Covalence).
This practice paper highlights the inconsistency between the importance given to the topics captured under SDG 16 on Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions by investors and standard setting agencies (84% of whom consider it (very) relevant to report on) and the lack of reporting on SDG 16 by companies. One reason for limited reporting is lack of practical guidance.
