OD per-learning report : Supporting inclusion-driven power shifting organisational change processes
In October 2022, the international OD programme hosted a peer-learning event focusing on change processes to redress power imbalances. Structured around 5 learning questions, this report syntheses the insights, examples and practical tips generated by participating organisations, both to support them in continuing to facilitate internal change and share with peers engaging in transformative efforts across other organisations.
Working with and for youth: Practical ideas to foster youth engagement in policies, processes and programmes
This new OSCE practice paper aims to provide a critical point of reference of best practices for organizations that want to improve their engagement with youth. The publication presents the culmination of our partnership with the OSCE Secretariat, (ODIHR and OSCE Mission to Serbia and builds on the Youth Digital Roundtable Series, which brought together practitioners within and beyond the OSCE for peer-learning on operationalising youth participation and inclusion.
Revitalising a Global Network for Democracy and Peace
The Partners Network is a long-standing network linked together through the shared commitment to using recognized conflict sensitive and inclusive approaches to facilitation, mediation, and dialogue processes to promote peaceful and inclusive societies. In recent years, PeaceNexus has supported the network through an organizational strengthening process. Thematic Review on Local Peacebuilding 2022
Thematic Review on Local Peacebuilding, commissioned by the UN Peacebuilding Support Office (PBSO) in partnership with PeaceNexus and the UN Volunteers programme, provides a comparative analysis of local-level peacebuilding initiatives funded by the UN Peacebuilding Fund (PBF) from 2015 to 2021. Informed by four case studies led by young researchers in Burkina Faso, Côte d’Ivoire, Kyrgyzstan, and the Western Balkans, the Review offers insights into how local peacebuilding is conceptualized and operationalized in a range of contexts and outlines recommendations for the PBF, as well as the community of peacebuilding practitioners to guide the design of future local peacebuilding programming.
