In 2022, we began the final chapter of our partnership with the Western Balkans Fund (WBF), which was established to support regional cooperation following an agreement reached in 2015 between the governments of the region.
When we began our collaboration in 2017, the WBF was in the process of recruiting its first employees and had not yet begun operations. Five years later, the Fund has grown significantly and is providing an increasing number of grants to civil society actors across the region, with a particular focus on those who do not typically have access to such opportunities. We are proud to have contributed to the WBF’s evolution as a champion of regional cooperation through our organizational support, which ranged from strategy development to the implementation of internal procedures and the development of a monitoring and evaluation framework.
